About Us
Intuitive Reiki was founded by Ariadna (Phillips) Egbert in 2002. Ariadna, a Reiki Master, has been an intuitive energy healer since childhood. After developing a challenging health issue, she discovered Reiki while attending Princeton University. After several unsuccessful treatments through traditional medicine, Ariadna trained in Reiki and found that her health issue subsided completely.
Fascinated by the healing modality, Ariadna traveled to Hawaii to study and speak with several healers, including Helen Sonobe, a Reiki Master certified by the International Center for Reiki Healing, as well as several Native Hawaiian healers in Waimanalo and Honolulu. Ariadna's studies in Hawaii became the basis for her undergraduate thesis, "Vibrational Healing", an examination of the history, practice, and benefits of Reiki, Huna, Ho'oponopono, and other vibrational healing modalities.
In 2003, Ariadna received her B.A. in Anthropology from Princeton University. In 2005, she received her Masters of Science in Teaching (M.S.T) from Fordham University. She worked both as a teacher and Reiki practitioner in New York City for several years, and currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she continues to practice Reiki. Ariadna also teaches Reiki courses in both English and Spanish.
